These new screenshots give us a closer look at the curvaceous Cassie Cage and the other kombatants of Mortal Kombat X along with its official box art.

Taking place about 25 years after the events of 2011′s Mortal Kombat, we see some of our favorite characters returning in new forms along with some fresh faces. As you can tell by these new screenshots from Mortal Kombat X’s official Facebook, series frontman Scorpion has had small changes to their overall look to add more details in his ensemble since his previous fight. Newcomer Cassie Cage features a bodysuit similar to that of Jill Valentine in Resident Evil 5, but with her mother’s (Sonya Blade) hair and father’s (Johnny Cage) sunglasses. Kotal Kahn’s new pictures suggests he is just as dangerous as his supposed relative, Shao Kahn. We also get to see yet another gross bug from the Outworlder, D’Vorah. Here’s to hoping that the concept art we found last month of Ermac proves to be true.

Mortal Kombat X is due sometime in 2015 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Make sure you check out MKX’s official box art provided below.
