Rogue Factor has launched a gameplay trailer for Mordheim: City of the Damned, which takes this dark adventure from the tabletop to the PC.

Mordheim: City of the Damned was originally a tabletop board game developed by Games Workshop, but Rogue Factor turned it into a turn-based, action-RPG adaptation and the results are quite awesome. In this video, you can see how the different choices you make before and during the gameplay will affect your end result. Where you place your characters is just as important as their skills and the attacks you select for them to do. Also, if your character dies in battle, it's going to stay dead. Even if it doesn't take a mortal blow, the number of limbs and extremities your character loses during battle also counts against its life.

Game Workshop announced that there will be a discount for Mordheim. Every player who participates in its Early Access (via Steam) will be given a 20 percent discount. The Early Access will kick off with two Warbands: the Human Mercenaries from the Empire and the Skaven from Clan Eshin. There will also be two procedural maps and two unique maps available during Early Access as well -- always two, there are.

To learn more about Mordheim and follow its updates, you can take part in the Early Access for the game and sign up for update announcements on Game Workshop's official website.
