Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate’s Opening Cinematic Shows Hunters Having A Bad Day

Capcom has posted the opening cinematic for their upcoming release, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate. We'd say that this video is hot, but then we'd also have to make a lame pun about the hunter in the screenshot above getting roasted. But yeah, it's a cool video.

The game will soon make its way onto the Nintendo Wii U and the Nintendo 3DS, but fans who are impatient and want a glimpse of what they'll see once they pop the disc (or cartridge) into their system can just watch the video below.

It features a bunch of hunters going about their daily lives when, BOOM, monsters appear and start wrecking them. We see scenes of chaos and running on the beach, in the plains, and inside a volcano. It seems that no place is safe from these humongous horrors. But luckily, you'll be able to team up with your friends to take them down and collect their remains to create stronger weapons and armor. This is the circle of life at its finest, ladies and gentlemen.
