Microsft has released details about the retail launch of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition.

A post on the Xbox Wire points to Nov. 18 as the release date for the retail version of Minecraft: Xbox One Edition. The digital edition was recently released earlier in September, but now you can pick up the disc to gift to your family, friends or even just yourself.

For those upgrading from their Xbox 360 versions, all of your creations and downloadable content can be transferred to the Xbox One Edition. You'll be able to hook up with your buds in four player split-screen local play or eight players over Xbox Live. You and your friends can explore a seemingly endless number of worlds, all of which are about 36 times larger.

If you've got the Xbox 360 Edition, you can upgrade digitally for only $4.99. If you want it right off the shelf, the Xbox One Edition will run you $19.99.
