Minecraft Coming to PlayStation 4 at Launch
Sony stole a bit more of Microsoft's indie game thunder at Gamescom this week, when it announced the PlayStation 4 would also be getting Mojang's hit Minecraft at launch.
There's already a major indie game shift happening between Sony and Microsoft, but it's going to get even more interesting during the next generation. At Gamescom, Sony announced another plethora of indie titles scheduled to hit the various PlayStation consoles, but the biggest shock was the reveal Minecraft would no longer be an Xbox exclusive.
eight million in sales, which bodes well for the upcoming PlayStation versions. With so many more people now able to get the game, Mojang and 4J Studios should enjoy continued success for quite some time.
