Japanese publisher Acquire is bringing its new RPG franchise Mind 0 to the PlayStation Vita this summer.

Mind 0 was unveiled in the latest issue of Famitsu (translated by Polygon), and is being developed by Zerodiv. You might remember Zerodiv from the Class of Heroes series. Mind 0 is set in a place where there are two worlds: the one we all live in, and a demon-filled mirror world. If that sounds familiar, that's because it's almost the exact premise of Persona 4.

The game focuses on protagonist Kei Takanashi and his friends as they try to stop people from using the new drug Mind to call the demons over into the real world. Fortunately, Kei has the ability to travel between worlds with ease. All of the combat will take place in 3D, while the story elements play out in 2D. Kei is a student, so the game will also deal with his everyday student life. Again, very reminiscent of Persona 4.

Mind 0 is due in Japan this summer, but we should know more about a potential North American release as we get closer to E3.
