The latest trailer for Mighty No. 9 reveals how gorgeous this Mega Man spiritual successor has become. We also get a look at its Collector's Edition.

Comcept and Deep Silver USA have released the new "Beat Them at Their Own Game" trailer for Mighty No. 9. We must admit, watching the colorful gameplay of Mighty No. 9 moving at 60fps just looks absolutely stellar. We get to see Beck take on eight extremely difficult bosses and fight through some awesome stages that call to mind the glory days of Capcom and the Blue Bomber. Everything we loved about Mega Man's 16- and 8-bit classics are here, revamped into an amazing action platformer.

The Collector's Edition of Mighty No. 9 will obviously include the standard game, but it will also include a special statue. This statue is a 6.5 inch, individually numbered piece that features Beck with 14 different articulation points and three different faceplates you could use. The packaging of the Collector's Edition will feature a foil signature from creator Keiji Inafune. It will sell for a retail price of $59.99.

Mighty No. 9 will launch both digitally and physically on Sept. 15 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U. The PS Vita and Nintendo 3DS versions of Mighty No. 9 will launch on a later date. Comcept also announced that Mighty No. 9 will support cross-buy across the PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. All versions of the game are going to feature a special retro mode that pays homage to Rock's 8-bit glory days.
