Be ready to revisit the radiation-filled subways of post-apocalyptic Moscow in the best way possible with Metro Redux.

Deep Silver has announced that Metro Redux will be launching on Aug. 26. The physical retail version of Metro Redux will contain both Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light in all of their remastered glory. Redux will also include all previously released add-on content for both titles. Boasting 1080p and 60 FPS gameplay, Metro Redux will bring about an optimized version of Last Night and a completely overhauled version of Metro 2033.

Metro 2033 will be retrofitted with the latest version of the 4A Engine, featuring completely redone visuals and drastically improved gameplay mechanics. You will be able to download these next-gen versions of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light separately. Buying Metro Redux for either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will get you both remastered games together at a cheaper rate than buying them separately.
