Konami has revealed its first set of premium downloadable content coming to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and it includes all kinds of costumes.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain's presentation during the Tokyo Game Show revealed a variety of costumes and outfits you'll be able to purchase as downloadable content (courtesy of Metal Gear Informer). Many of these outfits should look familiar to Metal Gear Solid veterans. Most notably, the sneaking suit, jungle fatigues and tuxedo from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater will be available. The tux was available in previous Metal Gear titles as a reward for beating the game under certain specific parameters. The tuxedo will likely be detrimental towards combat but could potentially help to blend into dark backgrounds and shadows.

Snake Eater fans will also like to hear that The Boss and Eva's ensembles will be added as well. Unfortunately, it's unclear whether or not Quiet will have this gear available as a costume option, but at least you'll be able to wear it while playing as one of your female Mother Base soldiers. Unfortunately, it looks like The Boss' jumpsuit will remain open, exposing the character's cleavage (I would've preferred a zipped-up option, but Kojima).

Despite all the absurdity and controversy surrounding Bethesda's paid DLC horse armor from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, Konami is adding its own horse armor outfits for The Phantom Pain. Unfortunately, Konami has yet to reveal if this DLC will be packaged all together or if each outfit is a separate purchase/download. There is also no launch window or pricing announced for any of this content yet.
