I don't know why, but I always sucked at the Mega Man games. My little brother, on the other hand, could beat them easily. For some reason Mega Man games have always bested me back in the NES days. But no more. After watching the trailer for Mega Man Xover, I'm determined to beat a Mega Man game and get back some of my gaming cred.

At the Tokyo Game Show, an event I'm going to nag my boss to send me to next year, trailers and playable versions of Mega Man Xover and Metal Gear Solid Social Ops were on the convention floor. Mega Man Xover is apparently an auto-running game with a card battling element. Check out the trailer below.

Metal Gear Solid Social Ops is also straying from it's stealth formula, and will be a card-battling game as well. I've never been a fan of card-battling games, but I'll check these two out for sure. Take a look at the trailer for Metal gear below. Hopefully you can read Japanese.

Both games should be out by the end of the year. Thanks to Touch Arcade for the trailers.
