Nintendo has launched a new bundle for the Wii U that includes the console, Mario Kart 8 and both of its downloadable content packs (yes, that includes Link).

In order to get us hyped up for Super Mario Maker's release next week, Nintendo is launching a revamped version of its Wii U bundle that features Mario Kart 8. The previously released Wii U bundle was priced at $329.99 and it included a physical copy of Mario Kart. Now, Nintendo's new Wii U bundle includes a pre-installed digital version of Mario Kart 8 on the console itself, but it will be $30 cheaper. Priced at $299.99, this Wii U bundle will include Mario Kart 8 as well as its two big downloadable content packs.

The Mario Kart 8 X Animal Crossing DLC includes the Villager and Isabelle drivers from Animal Crossing, as well as Dry Bone Bowser. In terms of vehicles, you get the City Tripper, Streetle, P-Wing and Bone Rattler. Raceways featured in this DLC pack are Ribbon Road, Cheese Land, Koopa City, Baby Park, Big Blue (an F-Zero track), Wild Woods, Super Bell Subway and an Animal Crossing stage. The Legend of Zelda X Mario Kart 8 DLC pack include Link, Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach as players. For vehicles, you get the Tanooki Kart, Master Cycle, B Dasher and Blue Falcon. In terms of stages, you can expect Wario's Gold Mine, a Hyrule stage and more. Please note that the DLC packs are included as eShop download cards inside the set.

This new Wii U bundle should now be available at retail stores now for $299.99.
