Madden NFL Cover Vote Heads To Quarterfinals

EDIT
|

The Madden NFL 25 Cover Vote has now reached the quarterfinals, as 35 million votes have been tallied up through the campaign.

Under the old school bracket, Joe Montana received 70% of the vote to beat out Dan Marino and advance. Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson easily handled New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, as Peterson received 81% of the vote.

The old school matchups will pair Joe Montana against Barry Sanders, and Jerry Rice will square off against Deion Sanders. For the new school, Houston Texans running back Arian Foster faces Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, and injured quarterback Robert Griffin III will take on Adrian Peterson.

Arian Foster has a good shot at beating Russell Wilson, as his round of 16 matchup against San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick drew the most votes. If you want to throw your hat in the ring and support your favorite NFL player, check out ESPN.com/MaddenVote.
