Ness' PK Fire-slinging buddy from Earthbound, Ness, is making his return to the Super Smash Bros. arena as a DLC character.

Poor Ness, being one of the slowest characters on the Super Smash Bros. roster always leads to the cast taking advantage of him. After watching his buddy get wrecked by the masses, Lucas has decided to leave his temporary retirement and is rejoining the battlefield. That's right, Nintendo has revealed its first DLC character to debut after Mewtwo, and it's going to be this Earthbound vet. Forget Giygas, it's Lucina you've got to worry about, Lucas. As expected, Lucas has got a PK-fueled Final Smash attack that is bound to change things up. Don't think that Lucas is going to be the same clone of Ness that he was previously, we have a feeling there will be some distinct changes this time around, and we can't wait to see how he plays.

Lucas will launch sometime this June for the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions of Super Smash Bros. Since Mewtwo is going to cost $4.99 to be unlocked for both the 3DS and Wii U version of the game, we have a feeling Lucas will have a similar pricing.
