For fans of the old school Final Fantasy titles who were on the wall about Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13, today is your day, even if you never played Final Fantasy 13 at all.

Sure, there were some aspects of Final Fantasy 13's story that were lacking, such as its script and voicing acting. Luckily, this retro-spective trailer of Final Fantasy 13 and its sequel, Final Fantasy 13-2, tells the story of both titles in a format we greatly miss, 16-bit.

Featuring the visual style and sound effects of the last Final Fantasy title to use 16-bit graphics, FF6, the stories of FF13 and FF13-2 arguably look even better than they did on current-gen consoles. Watch the story of Cocoon unfold and see if you even care anymore about the l'Cie jargon-filled dialogue of FF13.

Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 will be hitting PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 11.
