A recent Lego ad reveals that TT Games is likely working on a Minecraft-inspired project called Lego Worlds.

The Lego-oriented Eurobricks forum (courtesy of GameSpot) revealed that TT Games and Warner Bros. Interactive are working on a new block-based project. While neither company has yet to officially announce the game, a promotional ad for it can be found on the back of the Lego City Square set that was released earlier this month, which is Lego Set #60097 for all you brick aficionados out there. The ad (picture provided below) features an outdoors setting, featuring cliffs, a river, mountains, a desert and a construction site all blended together in Lego form. The ad has a tagline of "Explore. Discover. Create.," which heavily suggests Minecraft-like gameplay. The fine print and web address listed in the ad suggest that this game will be called Lego Worlds. We could definitely get into a farming/adventure game done in TT Games' signature style.

Other Lego games in development include Lego Jurassic World, which will span the stories of Jurassic Park, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park III and Jurassic World. Also in the works is the toys-to-life, Skylanders-esque Lego Dimensions. In Lego Dimensions, you'll be able to build your own universes featuring famous faces and locales from Batman, The Wizard of Oz, Back to the Future and other fan favorite franchises.

Stay tuned as we'll provide up-to-date coverage on Lego Worlds once more information is available.
