If you're a Lego fan, it should come as good news to hear there's going to be an adaption of 'The Hobbit' films from TT Games next year.

TT Games already brought The Lord of the Rings trilogy to consoles, and with the franchise's popularity and success in both theaters and as playsets, it's not all that surprising to learn the developer is planning on doing the same thing with the latest Peter Jackson movies. So far, the only details we have come from a French ad spotted by All Games Beta. The ad features Bilbo, Thorin and Gandalf, and lists the Xbox 360, 3DS, Wii U, PC and PlayStation as the available consoles.

While the last few Lego games have featured original voice over, Lego The Lord of the Rings merely reused the actual dialogue from the films. Whether or not The Hobbit will do the same thing remains to be seen, as does just how much of the three Hobbit movies the game will cover. 'Desolation of Smaug' is due this holiday, but the third film, 'There and Back Again,' won't be out until later in 2014. Regardless, we're looking forward to the block-built Smaug terrorizing us in the future.
