These new screenshots for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix takes us through the PSP's often overlooked classic, Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep, remastered for PS3.

Square Enix has released some new pics of the Birth by Sleep portion of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix. Many of you missed out on this great entry of the Kingdom Hearts franchise due to its exclusivity on the PlayStation Portable. Now, 2.5 Remix allows PS3 players to go through the story of Terra, Aqua and Ventus on their television screens instead of Sony's old handheld.

Birth by Sleep is, arguably, the third most important Kingdom Hearts game of the series. While Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days helped tell the story of Organization XIII, Birth by Sleep was much more important since it tells the story of Xehanort, the main antagonist of the series, along with why Sora's Nobody, Roxas, didn't look like him at all. Nevertheless, we can't wait to try this out prequel out when it gets packaged with Kingdom Hearts 2. Plus, Birth by Sleep gives us a good look at what kind of features and villains we can expect in Kingdom Hearts 3.

Be ready to continue Sora and Ventus' stories once Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 Remix comes out for PlayStation 3 on Dec. 2.
