King Washington Gets His Comeuppance in Assassin’s Creed 3 Trailer

The final chapter of The Tyranny of King Washington downloadable content for Assassin's Creed 3 arrives today, as does a bloody new trailer.

The Redemption is the third and final piece of the Tyranny of King Washington, and with it Connor must finally face down the alternate history version of George Washington, and save the people of the colonies. There's been a lot of build up for this installment, and with everything coming to a head in this conclusion, it's unlikely there will be time to resolve things peacefully.

This bit of historical fiction works well within the Assassin's Creed universe, and without diminishing the story of the main game, is able to provide another look at what could have been in Ubisoft's version of early America. Adding in some unique new powers for Connor also helped shake things up, and we're dying to find out how it all concludes. The trailer gives us a bit of an idea, but we can't wait to play the epic finale ourselves.
