Kinect Sports Rivals Trailer: Putting You in the Game

)

It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about Kinect Sports Rivals, but here it is with a brand new trailer that seeks to put you in the game.

The trailer shows us a bunch of purported “real gamers” being gathered around a play space to try out Kinect Sports Rivals. Immediately, the crowd is alight with “oohs” and “ahhs” as the Xbox One’s Kinect scans the players and creates a Champion in their likeness.

The accuracy with which the camera reads a person’s look is pretty impressive and the crowd reacts accordingly. Then they get into the real meat of the game and start facing off against others in a variety of competitive sports, like tennis, wave-racing and even a bit of rock-climbing. Fun stuff.

Check out the trailer above and await the arrival of Kinect Sports Rivals when it’s released of the Xbox One on April 8.
