Killer Instinct Trailer: Omen’s Release Date, Golem Teased

About two weeks ago, Iron Galaxy Studios teased its newest fighter for Killer Instinct, Omen, and now we have a follow-up video hinting at another new fighter.

Omen makes his real debut in the Killer Instinct trailer above where he blasts his opponents with a mix of kicks, dodges and projectile blue balls, heh. However, Polygon reports, the true star of this two-minute-long video is the mysterious, gigantic fighter appearing at the end of it. Creative director Adam Isgreen posted the video on his Twitter and also announced the humongous new fighter's name, Golem.

It seems that Golem will be best at flattening people into pancakes with its giant feet and repeating the same few words over and over again. This behemoth looks like a moving statue that has armor on one side and little bits of trees sticking out of him on the other. Based on Golem's look and limited vocabulary, it seems like Iron Galaxy is comprised of 'Guardians of the Galaxy' fans.

While Omen will be available on Jan. 30 for players who bought Killer Instinct: Season 2's Ultra Edition and Feb. 5 for Combo Breaker Edition owners, Golem doesn't have a release date yet.
