Austin Wintory, the Grammy-nominated composer who is responsible for the "feels"-inducing music in Journey, has just signed on to provide the score for the remake of Leisure Suit Larry.

Wait, what? Sounds strange, but it's true. According to an interview on Polygon, scoring Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards Reloaded for developer Replay Games is a fantasy job for him. Wintory said, "Al Lowe, the original creator, reached out to me a little while ago. The team that's remaking it, Replay Games, they had been fans of Journey. It's actually shocking that they would think to call me because they couldn't be more opposite of each other."

He also says that he's written "sexy music" before, albeit for movies and not games, so delving into Leisure Suit Larry's dirty world shouldn't be too much of a stretch. The game was successful in its Kickstarter campaign and should be released early in 2013 on PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. Until we're able to hear Wintory's aural stylings in the game, check out the game's Kickstarter video below to get a sample the project.
