Jerry Bruckheimer is one of Hollywood's most successful producers, thanks to The Pirates of the Caribbean and CSI franchises. His Midas touch didn't spread over to Jerry Bruckheimer Games, as Gamespot reports the company is defunct.

A rep would not elaborate when Jerry Bruckheimer Games, created in 2007, folded, but simply added that it is not a "functioning entity." Initially partnered up with MTV Games, Jerry Bruckheimer Games would serve as an idea house in which members would work with other developers and hire a team to actually create a game.

Zero titles were created during the company's brief run, but one need not worry about Mr. Bruckheimer. He's producing The Lone Ranger and developing Pirates of the Caribbean 5, which means the game, for a Hollywood power player, is always afoot.
