Area Effect, a developer based in Paris, France, is set to unleash its action-adventure role-playing game, Izle, on the world.

Izle will allow players to summon the powers of the gods in order to shape the world around them, forming islands with different features. Players will be able to explore these randomly-generated islands and develop abilities and items in order to forge character classes. Sounds neat-o.

The game is currently in Alpha, but a Kickstarter will soon be launched in order to help fund the development of the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions. The game will also be released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii U in 2016, but if you register on the Izle site now, you can become an "Ambassador of Izle," giving you the right to earn special rewards.

The trailer above shows the game in action, so give it a peek if you're curious about how this terraforming, procedural adventure will unfold.
