2K Sports has announced that the 2014 draft's first-round prospect, Isaiah Austin, has been added as a playable free agent to all versions of NBA 2K15.

The career path for former Baylor University center Isaiah Austin is a heartbreaking one. Originally expected to be a first-round draft pick in the NBA's 2014 draft, Austin's career came to a screeching halt after a diagnosis of Marfan syndrome, a genetic disorder that ravages the person's connective tissue and causes many serious complications (such as heart disorders). While the dream is done for Austin, 2K Sports have decided to celebrate his courage and strength by adding him into NBA 2K15 as a free agent.

NBA 2K15 players should now be able to add this 22-year-old center to their favorite team and in the MyTeam game mode. Keep an eye out for him during this week's NBA 2K TV episode. NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has made Austin a ceremonial pick of the 2014 NBA draft, which has him in the record books as being an official player. He also has an NBA job offered to him once he finishes his degree at Baylor University.
