Is Frogmind’s Badland Already The Best-Looking Game Of 2013?

The first time we saw a bit of the upcoming game Badland was back in October. The gorgeous visuals made it readily apparent that something special was being cooked up in the studios at Frogmind. Is this the best-looking game of the year so far?

If the new preview that Frogmind has released is any indication, that just might be the case. We can't get over how pretty this game looks! And it looks like it will be fun to play too (that's important).

Badland will be an endless-runner game where you must help guide a little puff ball through an array of complex and colorful 2D mazes. You will have to squeeze through tight spaces, avoiding falling debris, and do what it takes to stay in once piece in order to make it to the end of the level.

In addition to a story mode, there will also be multiplayer support. In multiplayer mode, four players can engage in a survival contest, to see who can keep their cute dust ball intact the longest.

There's no official release date yet for Badland, but expect to see it in your local App Store later this month or in early April.
