A lot of awesome new releases are hitting the App Store this week, including the return of an old karate classic, a new puzzle game from the creators of Cut the Rope and more. These games will be available to download just after 11:00 PM Eastern time in the U.S., if they haven't already come out. Let's take a look at the new releases for this week!   • The Lords of Midnight

    This classic 1984 adventure game is finally making its way to iOS. Retro fans will be happy to once again gather knights on a quest to defeat the evil Doomdark, the Witchking of Midnight. A sequel, Doomdark's Revenge, is expected also be released. Now hurry up and release Leather Goddesses of Phobos. We never did beat that stupid game.

We've been waiting for this title ever since it was announced and we can't wait to punch stupid bad guys and hawks in the face. We just hope the princess is a bit nicer this time and doesn't flatten us if we approach her in a threatening stance.

  • Pudding Monsters

    You've heard of that tiny little puzzle game Cut the Rope, right? The one that features Om Nom? Of course you have. Well developers ZeptoLab have a brand new puzzle game called Pudding Monsters where you have to unite various gelatinous blobs into one giant pudding mess. It looks like it'll be just as much fun as Cut the Rope.

    A multiplayer frag fest where you gather up some friends and go to war. Assemble your squad, pick your weapons and duke it out. The colorful and cartoony graphics will have you smiling while your insides boil after some kid annihilates your entire team.

  • The Lost Treasures of Infocom

    Remember earlier in this list when we asked for Leather Goddesses of Phobos to come out? THEY LISTENED. Now we can play that and 26 other classic Infocom titles in this iOS compilation originally released in 1991. All of the Zork titles? All of the classic text adventure games that drove us insane back in the day? Now here? To play on our iPhones and iPads? There is a Santa Claus!!
