The nominees for the International Mobile Gaming Awards have been released and there are many to go through. The 9th annual IMGA, which consists of a jury of 15 press and industry leaders, selected 57 games across six different categories. Click through to find out what was nominated!

The jurors narrowed their selections down from the over 600 games that were submitted for 2012. According to IMGA founder Maarten Noyons:

This year’s submissions have been quite exceptional. We have never seen such a broad spectrum of games genres in the submissions. For two days the jury has reviewed hard core triple A games, poetic indie games, educational games and a growing number of narrative games. Developers worldwide are bringing ever-increasing standards of quality and originality to gamers across the globe. All 57 nominated games are worth exploring.

This year's nominees are spread across five different categories -- Excellence in Innovation, Excellence in Visuals, Excellence in Gameplay, Excellence in Storytelling, Best Social Games, and Best Serious Game.

There is also a People's Choice award that you can participate in by voting for your favorite game. Just head on over to the IMGA website and vote. The winners will be announced on March 28th in San Francisco.
