Infinite Crisis Will be Throwing Us a Bone With a New Champion, Krypto

Man's best friend, or in this case Superman's best friend, Krypto, will soon be joining the super heroes and super villains of Infinite Crisis.

Krypto got captured while trying to save his partner in crime, Superman, but he has finally escaped and rejoined his master to fight evil doers side by side. Infinite Crisis' newest champion is one of the most badass canines ever, aside from Air Bud, and will soon be playing fetch all over the battlefields of justice. You can check out Krypto's abilities below as well as some screenshots of the super pooch, whereas you can see some gameplay action in the video above.

To start out with, Krypto's passive is called Vigilance and is activated when he retrieves his bone, which will be detailed in his first ability. After retrieving the bone, Krypto's next skill or basic attack will be enhanced. If it's a basic attack, it applies bonus power damage as well as a brief root. Krypto's first ability is Fetch. Fetch throws his bone to a target location that reveals the area for a brief period of time. If re-activated, Krypto fetches the bone, dashing to the area, and dealing power damage and a slow to all enemies struck along the way. While he's running, he's immune to disables and when the bone is retrieved, Fetch's cooldown is refreshed. Allies can pick up Krypto's bone and toss it twice as far. Next up is Man's Best Friend, where Krypto will rush to a target ally in order to apply a shield to his targer, himself and all allies he passes through along the way. Krypto's ultimate ability, Piercing Howl, deals power damage in a line in front of him. The affected enemies are drawn to the center of howl's area of effect.

Krypto will go live on April 1 and Infinite Crisis will officially release on Steam on March 26, although you can play it instantly now by signing up for the beta.
