We get to see Link training with one of Zelda's guards and moving on to fight hordes of Moblins in these new screenshots of Hyrule Warriors.

A Japanese site for Hyrule Warriors has recently launched, offering us a variety of screenshots along with a few details of what the game encompasses. Hyrule Warriors is a Dynasty Warriors-style game being done by Team Ninja of Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive fame. Based on the website, Zelda's longtime guardian, Impa, will also be a playable character in this supposedly two-player title. Like most other modern Legend of Zelda titles, Link starts off in common attire. Link is apparently trained as Hylian soldier before donning his iconic green tunic.

Rumor has it that Hyrule Warriors won't even be having any dungeons, but there will be plenty of massive wars to be fought. Hyrule Warriors launches exclusively for Wii U in Japan on Aug. 14. Due to The Legend of Zelda's lack of presence on the Wii U (a formal entry is being developed, but has yet to be unveiled), we expect that Nintendo will definitely want to ship Hyrule Warriors over for a Western release and is probably going to announce it at E3.
