Nintendo's anticipated Link amiibo figurine is going to be compatible with Hyrule Warriors.

A recent Tweet on Nintendo of America's official Twitter announced the compatibility between last month's The Legend of Zelda spin-off, Hyrule Warriors, and the upcoming Link amiibo figure. Everyone is up in arms about Nintendo's amiibo mini-figures, but the masses are still clueless as to what they exactly do besides acting like an NFC memory card (remember memory cards?). It's a shame that Link is the only amiibo announced so far to be compatible with Hyrule Warriors when Zelda is an upcoming figure as well and is an important part in Koei Tecmo's Triforce-filled action game.

The first series of Nintendo's amiibo figures will launch on Nov. 21 at the suggested retail price of $12.99 each. We had a feeling that the Link figurines would sell out quickly (honestly, who would buy a Wii Fit Trainer amiibo before Link?), but this compatibility will make Link sell even faster.

We have a feeling Link will be looking sleepy:
