Dennaton Games delayed the release of its top-down action game, Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, but it didn't give out an official release date... until now?

IGN reports that following a tweet on Hotline Miami's official account, there's a good chance that the game will be coming out very soon. When it was first postponed, the development company announced that it would either be coming out in late 2014 or early 2015 and have since updated that estimation to Q1 2015. However, with no set release date, this Tweet could be the answer we've been waiting for.

Upon calling the aforementioned number, it seems to lead directly to the voice mail of some random person's phone, but there's no clear message that comes through. The only thing even remotely discernible is the word "March" repeated over and over again as well as a voice at the end telling you that you've reached the wrong number. Since Hotline Miami 2's tag line is Wrong Number, we're hoping that the word "March" coupled with the unnecessary phone extension of 10 points to a March 10 release for the sequel.

For now it seems that we'll just have to sit and wait to see if the clue really will be the release date, or if Dennaton Games is just sitting back and laughing at all our frenzied decoding attempts.
