Heroes, the NBC series whose epic, comic book infused narrative drew a faithful legion of fans as well as subsequent detractors, may be headed for Xbox programming. Per TV Line, MSN is in talks to resurrect the program for the Xbox Entertainment Studio.

Although specific details have yet to emerge, sources tell TV Line that MSN wants to create new stories and protagonists for the franchise as well as have some original cast members make cameos in this new version. Heroes, which lasted four seasons, finished its run on February 2010.

An estimated 46 million gamers are Xbox Live subscribers, and Xbox Entertainment Studio aims to produce scripted programming, reality shows, as well as cover live events for their growing audience.
