Known for Heavenly Sword and DmC: Devil May Cry, we're glad Ninja Theory released this behind the scenes video about Hellblade's combat, controls and camera development.

We are loving these in-depth, inside looks at the development of Ninja Theory's next game, Hellblade. Going for a much more open world-like experience than its previous projects, Ninja Theory had to create an innovative camera system to allow players to watch the action on screen without having to worry about their POV. The team decided to go with a third-person, over-the-shoulder perspective, which has been used a lot in the Gears of War, Resident Evil and Dead Space franchises, but not in many action games like Hellblade.

Ninja Theory has thrown in an excellent lock-on system to adjust with the dynamic camera angles of the action. Since Hellblade's team is developing the game like a AAA blockbuster/indie hybrid, it's really interesting to see how Ninja Theory handled Hellblade's combat and movement.

While no type of launch window has been set, we guesstimate Hellblade will hit the PS4 sometime in mid-to-late 2015.
