Hearthstone to Get Single-Player Adventure ModeJohn Llewellyn Martin |
If you're tired of playing with others in Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, you'll soon be able to adventure on your own in the Curse of Naxxramas.
This marks the first single-player campaign in Hearthstone, tasking players with defeating bosses from the iconic Naxxramas dungeon, which is the base of operations for Kel'Thuzad, the lich. Prepare yourself to fight Maexxna, Loatheb and Patchwerk, some of the most infamous bosses from the instance in World of Warcraft.
In addition to a new play experience, Curse of Naxxramas will yield 30 new cards, all with an undead theme, for players to use. Completing each wing of Naxxramas will also gift players with a guaranteed new Legendary card. Players' mettle will be tested with all new Class Challenges, so gather your best cards in order to earn more goodies for your decks.
Curse of Naxxramas will be available wing by wing over the next five weeks. The first two wings will be free, but each subsequent wing must be purchased with either in-game gold or real-world money.
