Do you hear that noise? It's the sound of your Nintendo device's memory blocks, shivering in anticipation for this week's round of Nintendo downloads!

The offerings may be scant this week, but one should never choose quantity over quality. We've got some games to keep you glued to your Nintendo machines, and all you have to do is fork over a bit of your hard-earned cash and clear out some memory blocks to make room for these tasty titles.

Without further ado, here are this week's downloads:

  • HarmoKnight (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - This is the very latest title from the folks at Game Freak, the studio that brought us Pokemon! They also released a little ditty for the Game Boy Advance SP called Drill Dozer, which happens to have made it onto our 25 Best Game Boy Advance Games list! This latest game puts you in the role of a tiny knight who must use the power of rhythm to defeat his foes and save Melodia!
  • Legend of the River King (Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS) - A fishing role-playing game?! Why the heck not! This game lets you catch over 40 species of fish (one of which is a mystical Guardian Fish), or, if you're more of the nurturing type, you can raise your own fish from an egg in Raise mode!

Those are the only two big titles debuting this week, but 3DS owners should know that they'll be getting a system update that will allow them to download games from the eShop in the background and transfer data from a physical cart to a digital version of a game.

They'll also get access to some classic 3DS games that are now available for digital download, like Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and Resident Evil: Revelations, which will soon be making its way to consoles.

Going to be picking up any of these games? Let us know in the comments below!
