As 343 Industries is struggling with fixing the Multiplayer Matchmaking in Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the studio has decided to delay the debut of its Championship eSports Series

Since the game debuted, Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been having some serious problems with its online matchmaking. While 343 Industries has put out a few quick suggestions (such as don't stay in a queue for longer than five minutes and make sure your queue says that you're In Lobby) to make it slightly easier on players waiting in queue, the studio has not found a concrete solution yet.

"I'd like to personally apologize to you all for the current situation. I can assure you we're attacking this from all directions...and we won't rest until it's what it should be," said Dan Ayoub, an executive producer at 343 Industries.

Because of this serious blow to The Master Chief Collection's multiplayer, 343 Industries has decided to push back the Halo Championship Series start date, Polygon reports. Andy Dudynsky, a community manager at 343, has announced Halo's official eSports series has been pushed back from Nov. 16 to Nov. 23.

While it might not be what everyone wanted to hear, we hope these multiplayer issues get resolved soon.

Sounds like Master Chief went boozing too hard:
