343 Industries adds a quitter-opposing update to Halo: The Master Chief Collection, as well as more info about Halo 5: Guardians' Hunt the Truth viral marketing campaign.

The 343 heads at Halo Waypoint explained some of the new content and playlist updates and squelched some questions about #HuntTheTruth, the viral marketing campaign behind Halo 5: Guardians. April will be starting out with some title-specific improvements and taking a closer look at ranking. There will also be some new ways that 343 will be cracking down on those jerk faces who leave their games for no reason. There will be new systems implemented for quitting, betrayals, reputation and more.

We know many of you want to hear about the playlist updates, as per usual when it comes to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. First of all, Team Doubles will be making its debut, which will have you enjoying a mixture of Halo 2 Classic, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4 game types. There will also be adjusted voting options to help with BR-start game types. While Team Objective will still be released some time in the future, there isn't much to report there.

Finally, let's delve into some Halo 5. The Hunt the Truth story follows Benjamin Giraud, a 26th century war journalist and photographer in his, well, hunt of the truth behind what happened to Master Chief, who is being portrayed as a traitor to humanity. Anyway, Giraud is looking to figure out who this Master Chief really is and what makes him tick. You can follow Giraud's journey and everything he finds out through the Hunt the Truth Tumblr page or check out the episodes on iTunes.

A new Hunt the Truth episode just came out a few days ago, so you can listen to it while you're taking out your enemies on Halo: The Master Chief Collection for Xbox One.
