As part of its agreement with Valve, NECA will be bringing a 1:1 replica weapon to life from the developer's seminal sci-fi shooter Half-Life 2.

Having already developed several different full-size versions of the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device from Portal and Portal 2, it only made sense for NECA to move on to Valve's other highly celebrated franchise. Though many fans may still be holding out hope for Gordon Freeman's trademark crowbar, what NECA is making is even better.

The Half-Life 2 Gravity Gun replica (zero-point energy not included), is next on the company's to-do list. A prototype has already been put together, complete with working lights, and NECA expects to be ready to ship in spring 2013.

The Gravity Gun will be on display at Toy Fair 2013, and will be available in limited quantities. Pre-orders are expected to open soon, though NECA hasn't released a price just yet. If the Portal guns were any indication, the Gravity Gun could retail anywhere between $120-$160 when it finally arrives. Check out the first pics below, and let us know whether or not you'll be adding this to your arsenal.
