Guardians of Middle-Earth Receives The Hobbit’s Thorin and Great Goblin DLC

Hold on to your Bad Ends, Hobbit fans, because Guardians of Middle-earth has another piece of downloadable content with some fan favorite characters.

Oh yeah, Thorin Oakenshield is now in the mix! Take control of the son of Thráin and bash in the heads of baddies with his wooden shield. For the uninitiated, Thorin leads Bilbo and the company of dwarves to fight Smaug, the dragon, and retake their homeland in the Lonely Mountain. For fans of villains, you'll be able to download The Great Goblin, ruler of Goblin-town, located deep in the bowels of the Misty Mountains. This batch of DLC comes a week after the addition of Bilbo Baggins and Bert the Troll, adding to the growing number of heroes in the game.

The DLC is live on the PlayStation Network on Xbox LIVE Arcade, so get to downloading! Check out the two new characters in action in the trailer below.
