God of War Launch Trailer Prematurely Ascends Into Awesome

Sony's God of War: Ascension isn't out for another two weeks, but that doesn't mean this launch trailer is any less impressive.

March is turning into one of the more crowded months of the year for bonafide AAA gaming attractions. Even though it's still February, Sony has seen fit to release the launch trailer for the March 12th releasing God of War: Ascension.

To be fair, it's a pretty darn impressive trailer. There's some solid action, some eye-popping visuals, and some narrative moments to show a bit of what players are in for with this prequel. The God of War franchise has continually been one of the best exclusives on Sony's console, and after watching this trailer, there's no reason to believe that consistency is in danger of falling off.
