Just in case you were worried about the multiplayer in Gears of War: Judgment, Epic has released a new trailer showing all the new features sure to change the way you play Gears competitively.

For the most part, all of the discussion about Gears of War: Judgment has focused on the campaign and cooperative modes. With just one month to go until the sequel's March 19th release, Epic has seen fit to detail the latest happenings in the multiplayer portion. After watching just a few minutes, it's easy to see this is not going to be the Gears of War competitive multiplayer everyone is used to.

Sure the modes will basically be the same, (though now there will be a Free For All mode included), but it's the way the action transpires that sets Judgment's multiplayer apart. New grenade types, and quick throws, are added to the mix, as is the ability to jump off ledges and higher platforms to get the drop on enemies. With only one mode devoted to COG vs. Locust battles, some might be scratching their heads, but honestly, what does it matter who you're fighting as long as you don't die?

You can check out the latest footage below, and let us know what you think of the drastic changes Judgment is introducing to the Gears franchise in the comments.
