The world of military thrillers and espionage may never be the same after Tom Clancy's passing, but the outpouring of support from the gaming industry shows a lot of love for the man behind franchises like Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon.

Ubisoft has been the home to many a Tom Clancy video game over the past decade and beyond, and the publisher didn't shy away from sharing its condolences and support for the man who inspired the likes of Sam Fisher.

Though The Division is still currently in development for a 2014 release, the upcoming tactical shooter MMO for next-gen consoles owes plenty to Clancy. As such, the team behind the game shared their thoughts on the game's official Twitter.
