Game & Wario Gets Dated for US Release

At the last Nintendo Direct event, it was revealed that Game & Wario, the hyperactive party game for the Wii U, will be coming to America! Game & Wario was previously dated for Japanese release on March 28^th, and will be coming to American shelves on June 24rd. The game will be released both in retail and 3DS eShop format. There is no word yet on a European release.

Game & Wario will be to the Wii U what Warioware Smooth Moves was for the Wii. Each game will make use of the Wii U Gamepad in different and interesting ways, showing off what the Wii U is capable of. It’s a lot like Nintendoland in that it’s a bit of a tech demo, but since every Warioware title is marketed as a party game anyway, this isn’t a bad thing.

Game & Wario was first showcased at E3 last year. We will likely get a chance to play a complete build of the game at this year’s E3.
