Square Enix has got all of your favorite jobs lined up as Final Fantasy III will be hitting PCs via Steam quite soon.

IGN reports that one of the lesser-known entries of the Final Fantasy series, Final Fantasy III, will be arriving soon on Steam. Final Fantasy III originally debuted in Japan in 1990 and never saw any sort of Western release until 17 years after its initial release as a 3D remake. Based on the Steam listing for Final Fantasy III, this PC release will be an optimized version of the DS remake.

The website describes FFIII as having new 3D visuals, additional story sequences, achievements, new designs for Job Mastery Cards, a better bestiary and Steam Trading Cards.

Unfortunately, no sort of actual release date or price was revealed on the website. Stay tuned as we provide up-to-date coverage on the Steam edition of Final Fantasy III once more information is available.
