EA Sports has released a new trailer for FIFA 15 that focuses on the game’s treatment of the world’s best soccer league, Barclay’s English Premier League.

While previous FIFA 15 trailers have highlighted overall additions and changes to this year’s game, such as graphics, emotion and player control, this one gets more specific, showing how the English Premier League (The NFL of soccer) will get special treatment. Over 200 EPL stars have had their faces scanned into the game, making Premier League games look even more like real world match-ups. All 20 Premier League stadiums will be presented in remarkable detail in FIFA 15, and each will be populated with rabid virtual fans who will perform team-specific chants and add local atmosphere.

In Europe, and possibly the world, the English Premier League is probably the most played league among FIFA players. With legendary teams like Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea, the EPL represents the highest level of play on the planet, and includes global superstars like Wayne Rooney, Luis Suarez and Yaya Toure. With that kind of power, influence and notoriety, it makes perfect sense that EA would put a little extra love behind the league. It will be interesting to see how FIFA handles other high-level leagues, like Spain’s La Liga, Germany’s Bundesliga, Mexico’s Liga MX, and the Ukrainian and Argentinian Premiere Leagues, as well as the American Major League Soccer. MLS may not be one of the biggest or best leagues in the world yet, but it’s on the rise, and it reaches more American viewers than any other league.

FIFA 15 is scheduled for a Sept. 23 release date on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, 3DS and PC.
