Brad Pitt might have spent 'Seven Years in Tibet,' but Far Cry 4 will be taking us there in less than a year.

EuroGamer has confirmed with Ubisoft that Far Cry 4 will be set in the snowy Himilayan mountain range that spans southern China and northern India. This is a dramatic change from previous Far Cry titles which were predominantly set in tropical island regions.

An inside source has confided to EuroGamer that this region will open up the doorway to elephant-riding (which would make sense given the surrounding regions), mountain climbing and other necessary methods of traversing the landscapes in that area.

EuroGamer claims that Ubisoft is seeking to release Far Cry 4 before the financial year ends in March 2015. While we're pretty sure that Far Cry 4 will be out for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, the development of Far Cry 4 for current-gen consoles remains rather uncertain at this point in development.
