Bethesda has released its fourth educational cartoon featuring Vault Boy, teaching you how important Charisma is out in the wasteland while playing Fallout 4.

Vault Boy, the Vault-Tec company's animated mascot, returns with the fourth S.P.E.C.I.A.L. cartoon for Fallout 4, and you're going to need to be a smooth talker if you want things to go your way throughout the nuclear remnants of Beantown. We already learned about Strength, Perception and Endurance, where Strength determines how hard you hit and how many items you can carry. Perception has to do with your senses and enemy detection. Endurance determines your hit points and resistances.

Now, it's time to learn about Charisma, that all-important it-factor that determines how people treat you. A higher Charisma means you have better chances at making dialogue go your way. It also opens up a variety of new options when talking. Your Charisma also determines how much your companions like you and can even inspire enemies to stop attacking you. You can get better deals with bartering and avoid addictions based on your Charisma levels. Eloquence also helps increase the likelihood of people listening to you in hostile situations, where a mediocre talker would often be ignored. Don't forget, we've still got cartoons for Intelligence, Agility and Luck to look forward to.

Fallout 4 will launch on Nov. 10 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Pre-ordering the Xbox One version of the game will unlock a free copy of Fallout 3 via backwards compatibility.
