The developers of Heavy Rain are bringing their original serial killer story back to PC.

Gematsu reports that Indigo Prophecy is making a formal return to PC. This marks the 10 year anniversary of Indigo Prophecy (known as Fahrenheit outside of North America). Indigo Prophecy is a unique take on the point-and-click adventure drama by intertwining some intuitive control changes. This paranormal thriller tells the story of a series of murders that all follow a similar pattern of an ordinary person being possessed and killing a random stranger out in public. With shifting perspectives, you not only get to play as the detectives on the case, but as one of the innocent suspects who became a possessed murderer. Indigo Prophecy gets a little obscure with its use of psychics, superhuman powers, AI and a potential worldwide apocalypse, but its a dark adventure unlike any other.

Fahrenheit: Indigo Prophecy Remastered will hit PC on Jan. 29 (via Steam) for $9.99. This revamped version of the game will be uncut, meaning those awkward love scenes have returned with naughty bits that are hopefully a little less pointy this time around.
