Fable Legends Beta Test Planned for Early 2014

The multiplayer fantasy-fest known as Fable Legends will be making its way to the Xbox One next year. But, before it does, a beta will be available for players to test out the game.

According to an article on IGN, an admin on the Lionhead Studios forum announced that they "will release new and more information about the game on our website, including opportunities for beta testing the game in 2014. Make sure to sign up to be kept in the loop as we will release more information throughout the coming weeks and months."

But, looking at the forum now, the portion of the statement that mentions the beta seems to be missing from the actual post. Perhaps the cat was let out of the bag too soon?

It is also revealed that, though this game "is being made with the Fable spirit firmly in mind," it is not Fable 4. There's no word on whether or not we'll see an actual Fable 4 in the future, but for now we can look forward to partnering up with friends or becoming the villain in Fable Legends.
