Exclusive New Totem Runner Trailer and Screenshots

We here at Arcade Sushi love our endless runner games, so we're pretty stoked to be giving you some exclusive screenshots and an exclusive teaser trailer for Chillingo's upcoming title, Totem Runner.

When a brave warrior's world is threatened by dark magic, he must use his mystical powers to overcome his foes. Using his powers to transform between a man, bird and beast, this warrior will run, spear and fly across some gorgeously animated colorful worlds.

We had a chance to spend some time with Totem Runner (review coming next week), and the game really is as pretty as the screenshots below indicate. The gameplay is smooth and the animations are awesome. We love the way you can transform at will into different animals and each level looks just as gorgeous as the one before it.

There's some strategy as well -- do you charge through each level as the enormous rhino, fly as the eagle, or take your time running as a human, growing your environment to earn points and collecting gems? Makes for some interesting gameplay choices. Best thing is there are checkpoints, so if you die, you don't have to start all the way at the beginning of the level.
